The information stored is solely for the functioning of the VerseRecall app on your device. It allows you to:

• Resume your study sessions.

Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored in your browser's localStorage. This means it's tied to the browser and device you are using. If you clear your browser's cache or storage, this data will be erased. We do not have access to this data, and it is not backed up on any server by us.

Upgrades (Simulated)

The app features a simulated $1.99 upgrade to unlock all features. No actual payment is processed, and no financial information is collected or stored by VerseRecall. The "upgrade" status is simply a flag stored in your browser's localStorage.

Third-Party Services

VerseRecall does not integrate with third-party services for data collection or advertising purposes. The app uses Google Fonts to enhance its visual appearance. For verse explanations, it may use the Google Gemini API if you choose to use that feature, which involves sending the verse text to Google's servers. Your API key for Gemini is managed locally and is not stored by us.
